Saudi Arabia has told Indian authorities that Faish Mohammed, a suspected terrorist, has been apprehended by local authorities and may be deported soon. An engineer by profession, 28-year old Fasih is alleged to have been involved in the Chinnaswamy Stadium blast in Bangalore and the shooting incident near Delhi's Jama Masjid in 2010. He is wanted by both the Delhi and Karnataka police.

Certain religious leaders on Thursday strongly disapproved of the Delhi High Court judgment which legalised gay sex among consenting adults."It is absolutely wrong to legalise homosexuality. We will not accept any such law," said Jama Masjid Imam Ahmed Bukhari. He also critcised the government for trying to amend the Indian Penal Code to scrap Section 377 that criminalises homosexuality.
